Privacy Policy
Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 12, 13, and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), and § 165 para. 3 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021).
1. Controller & Data Protection Contact
Responsible for data processing on this engineering portal pursuant to Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR:

2. Sovereign On-Premise Hosting & Server Logs
This portal is hosted on private, sovereign dedicated server infrastructure in Austria / European Union. No cloud providers outside the EU (such as US-based hyperscalers) are utilized. When accessing our pages, web server access logs are temporarily stored for technical security, attack prevention (fail2ban/rate-limiting), and error analysis:
- Requested URL / resource and HTTP protocol method
- Browser user agent string and operating system architecture
- HTTP status code and transferred payload size in bytes
- Date and time of server request
- Anonymized IP address (the last octet of IPv4 addresses and the trailing 80 bits of IPv6 addresses are truncated prior to database storage)
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in safeguarding operational system stability and defense against cyberattacks). Server logfiles are retained for a maximum of 14 days and automatically purged.
3. Browser LocalStorage & Simulator Memory
The interactive in-browser development environment (Clack-Studio IDE) executes code entirely clientside within your web browser. Source code entered into the IDE, simulator breakpoints, active memory tables, and UI tab preferences are stored locally on your device via window.localStorage. This data is never transmitted to our backend servers. You may inspect or clear this storage at any time via your browser developer tools or settings.
4. Traffic Analytics & Privacy-Preserving Telemetry
To monitor server mesh load and evaluate compiler toolchain demand, we use an on-premise, privacy-hardened real-time traffic statistics engine. The tracking script is hosted on the same origin (no external CDN), sets no tracking cookies across third-party websites, and enforces immediate IP anonymization via wp_privacy_anonymize_ip() before persisting any record.
5. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the GDPR and Austrian Data Protection Act, you have the right to request access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing (Art. 21).
If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable data protection regulations, you have the statutory right to lodge a formal complaint with the supervisory authority:
